Hanging Stuff on the Wall (pictures, mirrors, shelves, lamps, light fixtures, sports equipment, etc.)
We recommend the appropriate fastener, and we install it. Most wall framing is covered with drywall that typically measures 1/2 or 5/8 inch thick. The wooden framing within the walls, called studs, are typically spaced 16 inches apart. We locate the studs with an electronic stud finder. To hang light-weight items, we drill through the wall covering to insert an expandable plastic screw anchor. Heavier objects, such as a large mirror or shelf, need to be supported by hardware that attach to the wall stud framing or we drill & install expandable anchors into the brick or concrete.
Furniture Assembly (bunk beds, bookshelves, cabinets, wardrobes, dressers, tables, light fixtures, IKEA furniture, and outdoor patio furniture)
Furniture assembly can be a big job. To look and function its best, the assembly must be done properly. A full-size dresser with six drawers can have up to 300 pieces and components. TV Wall Mount Installation
Once you select the approximate location and viewing angle for your TV, we will assist you in choosing the type of TV wall mount required. Depending on the wall material (drywall, wood, brick, concrete) we will recommend the best method to secure the bracket to the wall. Using an electronic stud finder, we will locate the studs in your wall to mount the TV. Wall studs provide a sturdy anchor point, ensuring that both the mount and TV stay in place. A general rule of thumb is up to 35 kg (80 lbs) of weight for a single stud; however, the TV mount specifications will be followed.

Deck Repairs
Our deck repairs include replacing loose rails, broken floorboards, loose steps, retighten flooring and railing screws. Pressure washing is often used to remove the build up of dirt and debris to refresh the look of the wood surfaces. We do not use chemicals or toxic detergents; however, the removal of isolated stubborn stains may require the use of a wood surface stripping product in place of overly aggressive washing. In many cases, a natural wood deck requires upkeep every few years. This type of maintenance helps to keep the surface of the wood attractive and friendly to bare feet and your deck will continue to look beautiful.
Door Repairs
Doors stick for several reasons, from excessive wear to swelling from humidity. In most cases, it's easy to unstick a stubborn door. Door locks wear after several years of use. Replacement of the internal parts depends on the age of the lockset. In some cases, the best alternative is to replace & install a new lockset with one of your choice of make and colour.
Drywall Repairs
Walls in our homes are subject to wear and tear, especially in high-traffic areas like the mud room, recreation room, kitchen and living room. The job could be the repair of a simple ding in the drywall to repairing much larger areas. If a hole in the wall can be covered with a "patch," then the repair is relatively simple and fast. For larger holes, we typically start by cutting out a square shape and then insert screening and apply a layer of drywall compound. Once the compound is dry, we sand the surface smooth and paint over the patchwork with a color that matches the wall. In most cases, the patched area will blend seamlessly.
